Are you being the real you?

Yes boys and girls the question is, Are you being the real you? I have come time and time again across the MASKED men and women.  Why oh why do we do this? Are we too afraid to show the world the true self? Have you ever changed who you really are to fit in with a group of friends?

If you have answered yes to any one of these question, you might want to rethink your life’s strategy. One day you will not be able to keep up the acting and people will start realising that you are just a fake. Or maybe you will wake up one day wondering, why you hanging out with a bunch of people whom you have nothing in common, or why you even around them to start off. Spare yourself the trouble, be yourself.

If you ever too scared of being yourself because you think that you will be alone in this world, please slap yourself. There is a lot of people in this world and I promise you there will be at least one person who would still love to be around you if you are yourself. Plus, wouldn’t it be nice to stop the bogus acting?

Now the fun part: for those out there that would do the rain dance and standing on your head to please the other party in a love triangle, read on… Be yourself, from the start when it comes to relationships. The funny thing is it will save you a lot of trouble in the long run. If you try and be someone that you not really just to please the other half, it will eventually catch up with you one day. The whole fake mask being put on when going on dates is ridiculous, why do we do this? Afraid of rejection? It will save everyone a lot of time and effort, if we all just be ourselves right from the start.

You don’t have to change yourself to please someone, don’t ever feel like you have to bow down to the king of influence! Be yourself and best of all be true to yourself. Like the awesome pic above states: SOMETIMES I pretend to be Normal. But it gets boring… so i go back to being me. Just be you from the start!

To die or not to die… That is the question.

Ever wondered why people get away with the crimes they commit?  This is something that has been baffling me for a while now.  They get to prey on the weak and innocent and then on top of that get away for the crimes they commit. 

I’m starting to feel more and more that our country should reinstate the death penalty.  Don’t you think when a country has the death penalty that the little peasants bouncing about will behave?  I surely think that they would think twice before committing crime against one another.  Why can’t you just leave your neighbours stuff alone? and what is going through your mind when you devise a plan to kill a person, or why the heck do you want to feed your selfish lusts on some poor woman who most probably can’t even defend herself?

After asking the above, what would be a good reason why we can’t bring back the death penalty? Are we going to run out of space in the graveyards? Is it against religious believes? Can the government not handle the increase in death? I don’t think it will really make a difference at the current state. Then you get some that will say killing human life is morally wrong under all circumstances. I think you seldom see a person committing a crime standing still for a moment pondering on the fact that what he is about to do is morally wrong, most of them don’t even care. Why should we then care?

I think the problem that we face in the country is that the government is so tainted with corruption and selfish thinking that it will never work to reinstate the Death Penalty in South Africa. If we manage to get it reinstated in SA half of parliament would most probably be dead. You need extreme sentencing to scare the peasants of the crime filled land, life imprisonment is not the way anymore, for some it is a 5 star hotel. Rather take those people dress them in construction clothing and use them to fix the potholes in the country. Then you also get the cases where the police docket just magically disappears before it reaches court.

What happened to the days where the community actually stood up for what is right and wrong? we tend to stay very cosy in our comfort zone. Don’t you think?

No toll for now!

Yay! finally! they heard our cries… it paid off but for how long?

So Transport Minister Sbu Ndebele decided to suspend the toll tariffs, I think they must stop the tolling completely. They can use those cameras for glorified speed cameras!

What do you think they must do?

Cutman Log: Weekend update

I must say, this weekend was awesome! Apart from the raining weather and coldness preventing us from having a real summer weekend with swimming and outdoor fun, it was pretty awesome! 

We had loads of pancakes!! I love pancakes My wife made the best pancakes! Just don’t forget the Sunday lunch, Roast Chicken and veggies. Njumies!

Installed Live messenger 2011 for the first time, must say it is pretty cool. Love the Facebook chat integration it has, that could proof useful in the future.

And now we have to close this weekend chapter and get ready for one hectic week ahead.
